According to Buddhist philosophy, the Blue Lotus is the symbol of the victory of the spirit over the senses, of intelligence and wisdom. It represents knowledge, and is often illustrated as a partially opened bud whose center is unseen. The flower is the embodiment of the “perfection of wisdom”, encouraging us on our journey of continuous learning.

My name is DeNel, DiDi to some friends and family, and Dr. D. to my university students. Blue Lotus Living is my way of sharing my love and knowledge of yoga with you.
Andrea & DiDi co-teach this class, adding some zest to your practice by using resistance in yoga postures. We still move slowly and deliberately through sequences of postures and breathing techniques to focus attention and free our minds from the busyness of everyday life, but in this class we also work on building strength by adding weight. Grab hand weights (food tins or water bottles will work!), a thera band and blocks. Wednesdays 9:30 am CDT
End your week in bliss with the balancing combination of movement and rest in this one hour class at the beautiful Hubbards Sailing Club. Fridays from 4:30-5:30 pm (AST). Session 2 Oct. 8-29.
Practice on your own time, according to your own schedule. Mix and match classes that fit what your body tells you it needs. Rent individual classes or purchase a subscription.
The cost is $3 per rental, or purchase a $10 subscription for access to all of the classes. For $60, you can have access to ALL live classes and ALL video recordings.

Didi’s classes are full of love and a sense of community. The yoga is high caliber—Didi provides innovative postures for more experienced students, while newer students will feel supported and encouraged as well.
