Yoga with love

For the Love of Life. Por el Amor de la Vida

San Agustinillo, Oaxaca, Mexico

February 13-17, 2023

A five-day yoga workshop and beach adventure in a unique paradise, celebrating life.

For the love of it.

Take your yoga practice to the next level. Learn new ways to feel postures on and off the mat.

Discover deep connections between your mind and body, new friends, and nature.

Uncover unforeseen treasures in yourself, and in others.

Taste life.

Welcome to my beloved Mexican home!

I’ve lived in this little village for nearly 15 years for months at a time, discovering the local ways and the wonders, and I want to share it all: the vibe, the ocean, the yoga, the beauty. I’ve curated a yoga adventure just for you. A bit of activity. A bit of relaxation. A lot of joy. Come, let me show you how incredible this place really is. (But, please, don’t tell anyone else!)

Where you'll stay. Where we'll practice

Zazil

A beautiful, private hill-top retreat centre with to-live-for views and exquisite Mexican detail. Just for us. We’ll use both the stunning yoga studio and the pool for our yoga workshopping. Yes, that’s right: aqua yoga and unique yoga tools to experience it all in new ways!

The Yoga

Your morning yoga workshop will typically include:

  • Mindfulness Meditation training and practice (1/2 hour);
  • Breath work (10-15 minutes);
  • Posture (de-and re-) construction for your body with focus on useful and accessible anatomy and myofascial concepts that will help you continue to move well through life (1 – 1/2 hour); and,
  • A complete Hatha/Vinyasa/Yin or Restorative practice putting all the new knowledge and sensations into place (1/2 hour – 45 min.).

You will receive individual attention, print and audio material to take home with you, and new understanding of how to use yoga to feel better every day.

We’ll use the exquisite Zazil yoga studio and the swimming pool (for aqua yoga); all yoga tools are provided.

(If you don’t feel like doing something, you don’t have to! This is the beach; this is your adventure.)
