Yoga for Chronic Pain Management
Chronic pain is pain that lasts more than six months. It comes from injury or disease, and can have a negative impact on how we live our lives. Yoga can help us to manage how pain affects our mind, body and emotions. This four-week workshop will introduce you to movement, meditation, breath work and focused relaxation to help you manage your pain instead of letting it manage you.

Nicole Melenchuk has been an RMT for 5 years working mostly
with a physiotherapist to help people heal from injuries and to help
manage their chronic pain. She recently graduated from the
National Academy of Osteopathy with a diploma in manual
osteopathy. She has been practicing yoga on and off for the last 10
years and loves the connection of adding massage therapy to yoga
DeNel (DiDi) Rehberg Sedo has been teaching yoga for the past 7
years, and is certified yoga teacher with more than 400 hours of
training. She’s been practicing yoga for almost 20 years, but still
gets her lefts and rights mixed up when instructing. She’s been
assisting massage therapists in Yogassage classes for 3 years and
loves the joy it brings to students’ bodies and spirits.
Each class is limited to SIX people to ensure every student enjoys
the benefits of two people assisting.
